Cover Title Genre Description
Abzups4 Abzu Swimming Simulator/Puzzle A mostly conflict free game a-la Journey where you swim and dive through some really gorgeous underwater environments. There are some rudimentary puzzles to solve but you're mostly here for the cool grafix and comfy.
Actraiserps4 Actraiser Renaissance Platformer/Sim A remake of the first SNES game, you play as a god who must reclaim lands for his believers to settle in by destroying the monsters that occupy them. The 2D action sections are fairly standard old-school action platforming with some new features like dodging added to modernize it a bit. The god-game townbuilding stuff is still the weirdly addicting awesome thing it was back in the day.
Ape2ps4 Ape Escape 2 Platformer Explore colorful cartoon stages and use an assortment of gadgets to catch escaped monkeys. Each monkey behaves differently and represents its own mini-puzzle. Very solid gameplay.
Axiomverge Axiom Verge Metroidvania Extremely atmospheric metroidvania heavily inspired by the Metroid series. Tons of cool upgrades and secrets to discover and an interesting story to go along with pretty pixel art.
Bastionps4 Bastion Action The first Supergiant game, known for its amazing art and music. The gameplay is fine if nothing special, use different weapons to kill enemies. The atmosphere and more famously the narrator who reacts to your every move is the big appeal.
BattleGareggaRev2016 Battle Garegga Rev. 2016 Shoot'em Up The classic maniac Arcade shooter returns courtesy of M2, with tons of customization options to blease both casuals and hardcore gamers alike. Still the same great experience and awesome soundtrack of yesterday!
Bayops4 Bayonetta Action/Hack and Slash One of the best action games of all time, developed by former Devil May Cry devs and wears its pedigree on its sleeve. You play as a dominatrix witch who needs to rediscover her past by killing demonic angels and angelic demons. The sequels are Nintendo-only.
Blasmas0ps4 Blaster Master Zero Platformer / Metroidvania Excellent remake of the original NES classic done in retro style but including lots of stuff. DLCs are available which allow you to play with the likes of Gunvolt and Shantae!
Bloodroops4 Bloodroots Action/Puzzle Fun little action game where you play as a crazy lumberjack hobo who can use almost any object in the world as a weapon to murder those who wronged him and left him for dead. Has some pretty cool finishing moves with tons of objects and some interesting boss fights.
Bugfablesps4 Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling Turn-Based RPG Since Nintendo fucking refuses to make another traditional Paper Mario rpg, some randos from Panama decided to just make their own and it's great. The writing isn't quite at peak Nintendo quality but it's very charming and funny and the gameplay is the Paper Mario rpg style we haven't gotten in 15+ years.
Bullyps4 Bully Action / Adventure Rockstar-developed game about ruling your boarding school with an iron fist. Join gangs, beat up rivals, torment teachers, and explore a fairly well-realized story. Great sense of humor. Port of the PS2 version, so it lacks the features added in Scholarship Edition.
Casaanips4 Castlevania Anniversary Collection Action Platformers A compilation of the old classic Castlevanias. Includes 1-4, the two original GameBoy games, Bloodlines from the Genesis, and for the first time in English, Kid Dracula. A great collection of fantastic games.
Casadps4 Castlevania Advance Collection Metroidvanias A collection of the GBA games Circle of the Moon, Harmony of Dissonance, Aria of Sorrow, as well as a port of the SNES game Dracula X. Aria is the real gem but all the games are worth a go.
Castlesotnrondops4 Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood Action / Platformer / Metroidvania Two of the best games ever made in one package. Based on the PSP re-release but only the original sprite version of Rondo instead of the weird 2.5D graphics version.
Chrocrops4 Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition JRPG A remaster of the PS1 game. Features over forty obtainable party members, a grinding-free level-up system, and a philosophically-inclined story. Very easy. Sublime ambient soundtrack and gorgeous, pre-rendered stages with dreamlike art direction. A controversial and ambitious game. The remaster comes with AI-generated background upgrades and newer models, but there is an option to stick with the classic graphics. Also features the Radical Dreamers prequel visual novel in its first western release, which helps bridge the gap from Chrono Trigger than the original release ever had. There is a very limited physical copy out there.
Contracolps4 Contra Anniversary Collection Action Platformers Like Castlevania above, Konami surprisingly dropped a very nice collection of old Contra games. Includes Contra 1-3, plus arcade and JP versions. As well as GameBoy and Genesis games.
Cupheadps4 Cuphead Run-'n-Gun Awesome run and gun game most famous for its 1930's cartoon aesthetic. You play as a humanoid cup who made a deal with the devil out of greed and now you gotta kill all these characters in order to work off your debt. There are some platforming sections but the primary bulk of the game are the awesome boss fights. The game is gorgeous but the gameplay is also fun as hell and shockingly hard as fuck given how popular the game is.
Darius Burst Chronicle Saviours cover Darius Burst: Chronicle Saviours Shoot'em Up The ultimate Darius package, for Darius and Shmup fans alike! It has two modes of play, AC Mode and CS Mode. AC mode is a direct port of the Arcade game Darius Burst: Another Chronicle EX, massive resolution and all, while the CS mode is where the bulk of the game is. You pick from missions on a map, which consists of playing through a sequence of stages, which when beaten unlock more missions, branching into various directions. There are 9 different ships to choose, including ships based on the previous games of the series.

Also available on Vita and PC, with the PC version supporting dual monitors in AC mode.

Darkcloud Dark Cloud Action RPG Atmospheric action-RPG with a "dark fairy tale" ambiance. Has mild roguelike and sim elements as well, making it very engrossing. The story's nothing to write home about, but it does have a unique style.
Darkchronicle Dark Cloud 2 Action RPG Bigger and better sequel to the original in almost every way, with over a hundred hours' worth of content and tons of side-activities. Sadly has a bit of a cookie-cutter ambiance compared to the darker first game.
Divekickps4 Divekick Fighting A fighting game simplified to it's most essentials, where everything is done with only two buttons and no joystick movement. A very deep and fun game despite it's simplicity.
Donutcps4 Donut County Puzzle Quirky little indie game where you play as a hole that goes around eating everything in the world. Very charming but also very short. Worth a go if you have 1-2 hours.
Downwps4 Downwell 2D Shooter / Platformer A neat game where you fall down randomly generated vertical levels with guns attached to your boots with the end goal of making it through while racking up combo points. Really challenging to do well but really satisfying when you do.
Duckps4 Duck Game Party Fighting Fun four-player party fighter where you play as duck's in various silly costumes and the last duck standing wins. Fight in various arenas with a bunch of random weapons. A whole lot of fun with friends.
Gungeonps4 Enter the Gungeon Roguelite Shooter Top-down, twin-stick indie shooter with sprite-based presentation and (you guessed it) roguelike-style progression. Blast your way through procedurally-generated stages with one of several characters and tons of creative gun types. Another solid offering for fans of the "roguelite" genre, with quite a bit of unlockable content. Silly and fun.
Fightrageps4 Fight'N Rage Beat 'em Up A fairly standard but pretty fun beat 'em up. Has a handful of characters with unique moves and combos. Cool graphics and lots of different endings.
Ff7ps4 Final Fantasy VII JRPG *NOT* the remake. A port of the PS1 game with a handful of added features such as a fast forward button. Classic game that put JRPGs on the map (in the West) with its state-of-the-art graphics, moody "steampunk" art direction, and unforgettable story. Like most JRPGs, it's linear and has very limited customization, focusing on presentation instead. Essential for genre fans.
Folowps4 Flow Puzzle A short game that's the precursor to Flower, Flow takes place on a microscopic scale where you control plankton that must gobble up other plankton. With the expansion, there are six different plankton in all. Simple gameplay, but extremely soothing.
Folowerps4 Flower Puzzle You play as a gust of wind/flower petal that goes around and blooms other flowers, normally to complete an objective. Extremely beautiful and relaxing. Has stunning level designs and an actually interesting "story".
Freeplps4 Freedom Planet Platformer Before Sonic Mania, this was the closest thing fans of the old 2D Sonic games had to a modern entry into that series. It's as shameless as it is fun. Some of the Sonic Mania devs are working on the sequel.
Furryps4 Furi Action / Twin stick Shooter Fast-paced stylish action game where you fight duel after duel against some amazing bosses(designed by Takashi Okazaki of Afro Samurai fame). The gameplay is a mix of Sekiro-style parrying and bullet hell. Great visuals and OST.
Ghostrunps4 Ghostrunner Slasher / Platformer Cyberpunk-themed first person game where you have to time jumping, wallrunning, and slashing at enemies in order to survive. You can get one-shot but so can all the enemies, keeping a good flow.
Gogobps4 Ghosts 'N Goblins Resurrection Action Platformer Arthur is back in his first real adventure in 15 years. The game's default difficulty is the classic fuckhard GnG style where getting hit twice will kill you and there's only one checkpoint per level. It does add lower difficulties but you're doing yourself a disservice if you engage with them. The graphics are ugly as hell, like a bad attempt at a storybook vibe. That said you're here for the gameplay, and its an incredible old-school asskicking.
Giana Sisters Twisted Dreams Directors Cut cover Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - Director's Cut Platformer A little girl has to go through the world of dreams and kick some serious owl butt to rescue her sister. A great game, sequel of one of the most fondly remembered games from the 1980s European computer scene. Don't let the cutesy cover fool you, shit gets hardcore challenging after a while. Includes the "Rise of the Owlverlord" expansion. It also has a physical version which can be found pretty cheap out there.
Gunbirdps4 Gunbird Shoot 'em up Originally released in the west on PS1 as Mobile Light Force with all the characters and story changed or removed. This version has everything restored and is a fun and funny vertical shooter.
Gunbird2ps4 Gunbird 2 Shoot 'em up Dreamcast-era vertical shmup that features amusing cutscenes and homoerotic endings. Although the second plays a better than the first, it isn't quite as funny.
Gunlordps4 Gunlord X Run-'n-Gun Retro-inspired run-'n-gun developed(in 2012) for the Neo Geo and Dreamcast, of which this is a port from. Despite the gimmick it is a solid game for fans of the genre, and it does run better on newer hardware.
Hatinps4 A Hat in Time 3D Platformer An adorable throwback to the PS1/N64 era 3D platformers. Collect various hats that provide different powers in order to stop a motley crew of weird characters and power your timeship. Fun gameplay and oozes charm.
Hldps4 Hyper Light Drifter Action-Adventure Top-down 2D indie action-adventure set in a mysterious eco-sci fi world. Plays kind of like classic Zelda, but with much faster-paced combat and a lessened focus on puzzle-solving. Cool synthwave/ambient soundtrack. Not among the best of its genre, but a decent option if you're looking for a more kinetic Zelda-like.
Iceyps4 ICEY Action Fun little meta 2D action game where a narrator tries to guide you along a certain path and you can choose to either follow his lead or not, with the story changing based on your decision.
Ikarugaps4 Ikaruga Shoot-'em-up One of the most famous shmups ever. Super balls to the wall hard but extremely gorgeous and stylish.
Farenheitps4 Indigo Prophecy / Fahrenheit Interactive Movie The first of Quantic Dream's narrative adventures, which prompt you to make choices and see how the story plays out. Starts as an interesting thriller, but the story quickly spirals out of control. Still worth a look for the curious.
MdKjasLLbdJ185V7tFO8zLcGiMlqsiPq.png Jak and Daxter Bundle Platformer / Action-Adventure / Racing Remasters of the four PS2 Jak and Daxter games. Unlike the PS3 collection, this one includes Jak X, which is great fun (no online multiplayer, however). Sadly still no Daxter.
Jamestown Legend of the Lost Colony Jamestown+ Shoot 'Em Up The year is 1619, and England and Spain are at war for the colonies on planet Mars. Great indie steampunk-ish bullet hell, clearly inspired by Cave's arcades. Lush pixel art and epic orchestral soundtrack. Has a bunch of improvements and extra content over the original PC version.
Jurney Journey Adventure / Multiplayer Explore beautiful landscapes and form a closer bond with a fellow player you never talk to. One of the best "walking simulators" ever made.
Shapesps4 Just Shapes & Beats Rhythm Fast paced Rhythm game with bullet hell elements. Simple art style that they do a lot with and a really cool soundtrack that keeps you in the zone. Has co-op too so you and all your friends can confuse each other as to who is who. Still a lot of fun with friends.
Kerops4 Kero Blaster 2D Platformer From the creater of Cave Story, play as a business frog trying to get to work. Has the same mix of fantastic platforming gameplay and extremely charming writing that made Cave Story so damn good.
Kineticaps4 Kinetica Racing Think Wipeout meets Extreme G, meets Rollcage, meets SSX, and you'll nearly be there. This game is an absolute blast to play.

Fans of Wipeout will love this, although the AI can be unforgiving at times.

Kof98ps4 The King of Fighters '98: Ultimate Match Final Edition Fighting A slightly rebalanced version of KOF98, also includes online features and upscaled graphics for modern consoles.
Kof02ps4 The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match Fighting The definitive version of KOF 2002, with modern netcode and up-res'd graphics. A ridiculous 66 characters to choose from.
Letitdieps4 Let It Die Action / Roguelike Free-to-play Dark Souls clone by Grasshopper, with all the cool stylings that come from their games. Try and reach the top of a very tall tower floor-by-floor with somewhat janky combat. Note that it has a lot of f2p bullshit that makes it very hard to actually beat without spending money, but if you want something solid and free play it until you hit that point.
Maxpayneps4 Max Payne Third Person Shooter An undercover cop finds himself framed for murder and thrown right in the middle of a drug conspiracy, just as New York is being ravaged by its worst blizzard ever. This noir-styled shooter was one of the first games to use bullet-time as a core gameplay mechanic. Tense story, cool action set pieces, and graphics that still manage to convey the gritty atmosphere make this worth checking. This is best played on PC but the console port is serviceable.
Messps4 The Messenger 2D Platformer / Action A silly 8-bit platformer inspired by the original Ninja Gaiden series. Cute silly characters, a cool look, and fun gameplay. There's a big twist that was spoiled to hell and back around launch but if you can manage to go into it blind it's neat.
Metslugps4 Metal Slug Anthology Run 'n Gun / Arcade The first six classic arcade Metal Slug games(+Metal Slug X). A port of the PS2 release, still a great way to play them all.
Missingps4 The Missing: J.J. Macfield and the Island of Memories Puzzle Platformer Gaming's favorite weirdo SWERY made a surprisingly touching game about depression, love, sexual orientation, and self-harm. You play as a girl looking for her friend/lover. The character gets hit by lightning and finds out she can't die. She needs to do terrible bodily harm to herself in order to solve puzzles.
Momops4 Momodora: Reverie Under the Moonlight Metroidvania Fun bite-sized metroidvania. Play as a priestess trying to find a queen in the hopes that she'll save the land from a curse. Plays like a dream with some awesome boss fights.
Moonps4 moon RPG Originally release in 1997 in Japan only, moon is kind of an anti-rpg. You basically follow the footsteps of a typical JRPG hero, who has gone from town to town killing animals for xp and breaking into houses for items. You have to go around and save those animals' souls and lift the spirits of the dejected villagers. Quirky and charming, but has some antiquated mechanics that come with ambitious games like this.
Nidhogg Nidhogg Fighting Minimalist dueling game where two players use quick reflexes and various options to try and win in any way they can. Really tight controls allow for a high skill ceiling.
Nuclearthrone Nuclear Throne Roguelike / Top-down Shooter Awesome twin stick roguelike with a wide variety of weapons. Fast-paced and challenging. One of the better roguelikes out now.
Okageps4 Okage: Shadow King RPG While the gameplay is very typical RPG flair, this game sets itself apart by having a fantastically gloomy and humorous atmosphere that feels like a Tim Burton/Henry Selnick movie animated by a Japanese mangaka. An early release on the PS2, it still stands out as a cult classic.
Rappa1ps4 PaRappa The Rapper Remastered Rhythm One of the first rhythm games where you must press buttons with correct timing to succeed. A likeable cartoon aesthetic tells the story of a rapping pup trying to win over his crush. Only six stages, but timing becomes punishingly strict halfway through. Can still be beat in an afternoon. Very nineties. You can return to beaten stages and do some freestyling if you're good.
Parappa2 PaRappa the Rapper 2 Rhythm Second game in the short-running rapping dog series. Reviewed poorly at launch on the PS2 but it's reputation has grown with time. Lots of cool beats to press buttons to.
Aatrips4 Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Adventure Puzzle Three of the best adventure games of all time in one slick package with upscaled art. Solve crimes for your silly clients alongside a zany cast of weirdos.
Psychonps4 Psychonauts Platformer / Adventure Explore a summer camp for psychics as Psychonaut-in-training Raz. Levels consist of platforming through manifestations of the charming and quirky instructors' minds. Things become more interesting in the latter half of the game, where you're tasked with rescuing the camp-goers while entering more deranged minds. Plenty of collectibles and unlockable abilities assist in progression, à la Banjo-Kazooie.
Rdr1ps4 Red Dead Revolver Shooter Play as multiple Wild West characters and kill everyone. Multiple characters with different play-styles/weapons make for an interesting single-player and multiplayer experience. Make money and buy new weapons by playing well. Precursor game to Rockstar's way more popular Red Dead Redemption games. Plays very differently from those so be warned.
Redfacps4 Red Faction Shooter Be an anti-government violent rebel communist in the future in a colonized Mars. Great setting and awesome fun. Plus you can blow holes in shit using Geo-mod.
Redfac2ps4 Red Faction 2 Shooter Not as good as the first, but still a solid shooter. Multplayer is awesome fun with a friend as games can last up to one hour.
Resogun PS4 cover Resogun Shoot 'Em Up From the makers of the Super Stardust games comes this stunningly beautiful shoot 'em up. Classic arcade space shooter action meets the graphics of the modern age. If you're a fan of shmups, this is your first treat from the eighth generation, and it doesn't dissapoint, although veterans may find it a bit easy, and also short (five levels).
Obradinnps4 Return of the Obra Dinn Puzzle You are an insurance claims-adjuster investigating a boat that has washed ashore with its crew missing and a dead body on it. Using a magic pocket watch you can jump through time to the moment of death for various passengers and crew and have to try and figure out the identity of every one involved. Very unique game from the Papers Please dev.
Rogps4 Rogue Galaxy JRPG Developed by the people behind Dark Cloud and similar in style and approach, but with a Star Wars-esque space opera setting. The story and characters are pretty nondescript but the gameplay is very fun, with active-time combat allowing for pausing to issue commands. The game boasts ridiculous amounts of side-content including massive optional sub-systems, which will keep you busy for weeks if not months. The cel-shaded graphics are pleasant and the world design is unoriginal, but colorful.
Rogleg Rogue Legacy Roguelike Platformer Often referred to as a "Rogue-Lite", which combines Metroidvania-like exploration with a randomly-generated castle which changes every time you die. Whenever you die, you pick the next in a line of descendants which comes with it's own particular traits. Not only you'll die A LOT but you're also expected to, since all money you collect goes to the next character, allowing to upgrade your home castle and granting permanent upgrades.
Shadowcomplexps4 Shadow Complex: Remastered Metroidvania Remaster of the XBLA classic. Cool powerups. Story by Orson Scott Card (that you can totally ignore if you choose). One negative is that there is A LOT of backtracking. Basically Metal Gear: Metroid.
Snk heroines flyer SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy Fighting Surprisingly fun fightan with a simplified but solid gameplay similar to Pocket Fighter, with single direction inputs and a focus on juggling combos. Has many SNK's waifus (mostly taken from KoF XIV) on skimpy outfits and a ridiculously comedic plot where Kukri from KoF XIV is now a pervert and wants all waifus for himself. Also female Terry Bogard for some reason. Also available on Switch & PC for Steam (There's also an Arcade port, but have fun tracking that down).
Soma SOMA Horror Extremely atmospheric horror game where you wake up in a laboratory far in the future. Really interesting story that is worth dealing with the occasionally bullshit failstates brought by the scary monsters that inhabit the lab.
Spunjk Spelunky Roguelike Platformer The game that kicked off the indie roguelike and platformer craze. Tight controls that let you navigate randomly generated dungeon levels to survive and try and get as deep as you can. A classic.
Soeotps4 Star Ocean: Till the End of Time Action / RPG A lengthy sci-fi JRPG, unrelated to previous Star Ocean games in terms of plot and more similar to the Xenosaga series in setting and themes. Active battle system comparable to the Tales series, there are several party members which you may recruit or miss depending on your choices. Detailed and varied worlds, but you'll spend way too much time on some of them. Get ready for a potentially infuriating twist. Takes a few hours to get going, mainly after goddamn Sophia leaves.
Repubcomps4 Star Wars: Republic Commando FPS Interesting Star Wars game originally released on the first Xbox where you play as the bad guys. Features a squad-based system where you command teammates to perform specific tasks. Very enjoyable campaign, but mediocre multi-player.
Strider Strider Action Platformer Reboot of Capcom's arcade/PS1 series. Play as an assassin fighting his way through a stylish metropolis to get to his mark. Fun old-school 2D combat.
Stubbsps4 Stubbs the Zombie In Rebel Without A Pulse Action Silly action game where you play as a zombie with a host of corpse-based abilities and the power to "turn" hapless humans, eventually commanding a small army of the undead. Has a Happy Days-inspired, faux-fifties setting, and a great sense of humor.
Suprahotps4 Superhot Puzzle FPS SUPER. HOT. Innovative game where time only moves when you do, and the goal is to kill all the enemies coming after you. Basically play as an action god in slow motion. Stupidly fun and satisfying.
Swapperps4 The Swapper Puzzle Cool game where you make clones of yourself and swap between them to solve the various puzzles. Has a surprisingly cool story.
Thumpps4 Thumper Rhythm You'll want to wear headphones for this one. High speed rhythm game where you play as this buglike creature on a track flying through what can only be described as a psychedelic metal album looking hellscape. Extreme percussion-based soundtrack described by the developers as "Rhythm Violence" to get you in the zone to navigate the levels. The best way to beat the game is to completely engross yourself in the music and almost use instinct to time your maneuvers correctly.
Timespinps4 Timespinner Metroidvania A pretty shameless Symphony of the Night ripoff, but hey, not a bad game to rip off. If you've played all the other metroidvanias that grabbed your eye, this one is worth a go.
Towerfull Towerfall Ascension Party Fighting A game in the same vein as Duck Game or Smash Bros where you and friends all fight on a single screen and last one standing wins. Art style might not appeal to everyone but it's a lot of fun with friends.
Sistor Transistor Action RPG Supergiant-developed, isometric action-RPG starring a mysterious singer and her talking sword in a rainy cyberpunk world. Real-time combat that's serviceable but unimpressive. Great music, accomplished ambiance, and intriguing story are the main draws here. A very solid single-player experience.
Travagainps4 Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes Action-Adventure A stopgap between NMH2 and 3 that mostly plays as a third-person action game with various gameplay gimmicks that change with each stage. As usual, full of retro game references and Suda51's particular sense of humor. Non-fans of the series might be a little lost, and it feels a bit slight for a full game.
Twistedmetalblack Twisted Metal: Black Vehicle Combat PS2 classic. You play as a clown with fire as hair, who kills enemies in cars while inside his own car.
Uchps4 Ultimate Chicken Horse Platformer / Party game Clever party game where every player chooses from a randomly generated set of obstacles or platforms to add to a stage so that they think that they can finish the stage while their opponents will fail. Enables some clever course building and good platforming skills. Lots of fun with friends.
Valhalps4 VA-11 Hall-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action Adventure / Bartending Sim Comfy "talking sim" based in a 90s-style cyberpunk Japan. Make drinks for you customers and listen to their stories. Has a PC-98 style and just cool vibes all around.
Valfps4 Valfaris Action / Platforming Neon-tinged action platformer inspired in parts by both Contra and Castlevania. Traverse a beautiful pixelart demon infested landscape using various upgradable guns and a sword.
Vanqps4 Vanquish TPS A fast paced third person shooter where you play as a government agent in a super suit trying to recapture a space station from Russian forces. The only downfalls are that it's short and the story is laughable. Still an excellent game. Endlessly replayable.
Voidbps4 Void Bastards FPS Rogue-like Basically what if System Shock was a rogue like. You roll as a prisoner who has different traits each time(some with upside some with major downside) and try and navigate ships with a wide variety of gimmicks and enemies. Probably best played on PC with m+k but this version is a fine alternative.
Bolgarps4 Volgarr the Viking Action / Platformer Old-school style platformer notorious for its difficulty. Art isn't anything to write home about but if you're looking for a challenge this is for you.
Warofthemonsters War of the Monsters 3D Fighter Pick a 40 story tall monster and kick the shit out of another, equally huge, classic movie monster ripoff. Each one has a completely unique appearance, feel, and moveset. Matches involve 2-4 monsters duking it out in a fairly large assortment of "arenas" full of environmental hazards like tidal waves and earth quakes. Fully destructable environments, complete with tiny screaming people, make you feel like a 140ish foot tall killing machine. Topping off the cake is some of the most fun multiplayer in existence. There's also a few entertaining minigames, and a couple of badass boss battles. A hugely unappreciated classic.
Warriorsps4 The Warriors Beat 'em Up Awesome take on the events during and surrounding the cult classic gang movie from the 70's. Beat the shit out of anyone who crosses you, steal car stereos for money, and escape gangs that chase you as you make your way back to Coney Island after being framed for killing the leader of New York's largest gang.
Wewerehereps4 We Were Here Series Co-op Puzzle First person puzzle game where two players explore castles, laboratories, and other labyrinthine structures solving puzzles in order to escape. They cannot be played solo so bring a friend.
Efps4 What Remains of Edith Finch Walking Sim Quaint little walking sim about a girl investigating the mystery of her family curse where everyone for generations has died young and tragically. The whole game is at least cool, but there's one sequence that'll just smother you in the feels and it's worth it for that one alone.
Wa4ps4 Wild Arms 3 JRPG RPG that takes place in a fantasy Wild West setting with a nice cel-shaded sketchbook style. The world map takes getting used to, but it gets better when you get horses. Has a unique battle system that involves firearms, which you can improve the fuck out of, and an unconventional, but nifty, skill points system. Has a New Game+ and it is recommended to play twice as there are plenty of times where early parts contain Easter eggs that will make you shit bricks once you connect the dots. WA1 and 2 are also good, but the graphics take re-adjusting to. WA4 and 5 have mixed opinions, but you may want to look into them if you like this.

Fuserps4 Fuser Music More of a neat tool than a videogame. You're a DJ at a music festival with a kit of 24 songs old and new from various genres. You use different instrumental elements from the songs to compose funky beats. Fun to mess around with if you like that kind of music.
Image-0
Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island 3D Platformer An indie 3D platformer developed by four swendish bois. It takes a lot of inspiration from games like Jak & Daxter and Ratchet & Clank. A great entry in this colect-a-ton genre, even though it could be polished a little more.

Easy to get to 100%, but no unfortunally no platinum trophy for you.
