The GP32 is a handheld console made by the Korean company Game Park and sold only in Asian countries. Instead of cartridges or disks, its games could either be downloaded from the Internet or purchased on SmartMedia flashcards. Despite its relative obscurity, the system achieved cult status due to its very active homebrew scene, something that was actually encouraged by Game Park. It was later succeeded by the Linux-based GP2X.
