  • I'd like to propose a change to this wiki's name to simply "Recommended Games Wiki". This wiki has gotten really big and grown way too far from /v/, and to be honest I bet most people who come here doesn't even known what the hell /v/ is (I myself only learned it is some random 4chan board very recently) and only come her for the recommendation lists.

(I wanted to make a forum post to discuss this but apparently Wikia is ditching the forums in favor of some new system)

EDIT: To anyone who sees this thread please no off-topic comments and PLEASE no trolling.

      • LYRIC-Stormwatch: I was just calling you that for ease, didn't mean to insult.
      • Mozai: I wrote the names from memory, downplaying anyone wasn't my intention. I also didn't mean to throw all responsibility over to you, though as a bureaucrat other users will naturally look up to you. About the question, maybe we should first ask "What /v/ is / what does it stand for?".
      • For the Empire: His question wasn't really a suggestion, more of a hypothesis. Though I don't see any problem with those pages (they have HUGE warnings on the top and you also get a warning whenever you enter this wiki unlogged) I wouldn't be beyond the idea.

/v/ is not a hivemind, and as such many games that people think are gems others think are shit, and vice versa. With that being said, at the end of the day, fun, interesting, and non-mainstream recommendations would fit under the /v/ banner.

  • First, I must apologize: sorry, I shouldn't have made a move without your permission. But I was 200% PISSED OFF when those cunts closed LyricWiki... so I created this.

But I quickly realized that I might have bit more than I can chew. I lack the know-how to properly manage a wiki, I don't even know how to transfer the content and documentation is a bit lacking. I still am certain that we should move, as Fandom's management is pants-on-head retarded, but I really need a hand with it. So, join Miraheze and I'll just hand it to you, if you wish.

    • I've noticed that the SNES page on there is based from an older revision of this site's SNES page. What's up with that? The Satellaview page on that site is at least up-to-date with this one.

    • It must have glitched while importing the xml file. Happens a lot with large files. Fixed now.
