Probably the most ill-fated handheld conceived, the Watara Supervision was a really nice monochrome handheld comparable to the Game Boy, which it intended to compete with. It ultimately failed merely because of lack of third party support, leaving it with a modest game library.
Some advantages it had over the Game Boy was it's lower price and being possible to link it directly to a television with a link cable, with it's games being displayed in four colors when linked.
