	Anarchy Reigns	Fighting/Multiplayer	JACK IS BACK (in full color)! Battle royale game featuring MadWorld characters (and other Platinum Games characters such as Bayonetta). There's both multi- and single-player. Tag Team, Battle Royal, and other online modes and challenges are MP. SP has Jack in a mission/sandbox story, and in a world that's a literal dystopia. The world has "landforms and gimmicks", but will "change in real time" with collapsing structures, rampaging vehicles, and natural disasters(!). It will have a MadWorld-like soundtrack, with the MCs returning to rock the mic. The characters shown are playable in multiplayer, but will be Jack's rivals in single-player. More characters and videos at Platinum's site. UPDATE: SEGA hates money so the western released has been postponed for now. You can however import it if you want to, since the JP version has full English audio and menus. 	Beyond Good & Evil 2	Action-adventure	The long awaited sequel to one of the best titles last generation. In June 2010, designer Michel Ancel suggested that development will still take "a while" and a small development team has been tasked with the project. Apparently Ubisoft is still considering the likelihood of releasing the title given the poor sales of the original. Michael Ancel now says BGE2 will be on future hardware. 	BioShock Infinite	FPS	The next installment in the BioShock series, though not a sequel or prequel to the other two (it's unclear at this point if it's even set in the same "universe"). You play as a former Pinkerton agent trying to rescue a woman with powers in an ultra-xenophobic crumbling "sky city", as in, a city, complete with sky scrapers, floating in the sky on hot air balloons, in 1912. Plasmids, or something like plasmids, will be prevalent. Very bright and vibrant outside setting as opposed to dark and bleak like the other two.	US: February 26, 2013 EU: ?? PC, PS3, 360
	Dark Souls II	Action RPG	New hero, story, artificial difficulty and an unfamiliar world. Do you have the intestinal fortitude to embark on this journey?	TBA PC, PS3, 360
	Dead Space 3	Third Person Horror Shooter	All we know about this so far is that it IS happening and it will take place on an ice planet, using blinding snow effects to replace the darkness in the last two games. Will have co-op, and seems to focus more on shooting and less on horror.	February 2013

	Grand Theft Auto V	Open World Action Adventure	Think Grand Theft Auto IV but in Los Santos and injected with a giant load of awesome. What else is there to say?. 	Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance	Hack and Slash	Ignoring the goofy name, this game seems like it'll be absolutely glorious. It's being co-developed by Platinum Games, who have never made a bad game, and the writing is still made by Kojima Productions, meaning it'll have the incredible gameplay of a P* game and the brilliant writing of Kojima. It's set a few years after MGS4, or an alternate universe, and follows Raiden on his CRAZY cyborg ninja adventures.	Feb 19 2013 PS3, 360 and has a rumored PC release
	Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes	Stealth/Being a badass	Recently announced by Kojima. Takes place some time after Peace Walker.	'Soon' PS3/360, PC? Possibly next-gen.
	Phantasy Star Online 2	MMORPG	The sequel to the much beloved Phantasy Star Online. PC, and recently also confirmed for a PSVita release, iOS, and tablet release, with shared servers between the two consoles and is going to be free to play pay to win. Gameplay looks promising, for an MMO.	2013
	Prey 2	FPS	People who liked Prey might be confused if you tell them that Prey 2 will revolve around alien bounty hunting in a dystopic, futuristic sci-fi city with open world gameplay. But it sounds extremely exciting and after the hidden gem that Prey was it's definitely worth keeping an eye on if you like sci-fi shooters. Update August 2012: Rumoured to be cancelled. Was also recently removed from the products page on Bethesda's homepage, making the future for this game look even more grim.	TBA PC, PS3, 360
	Shenmue 1 & 2 HD	Adventure	Everyone's favorite forkliftin', soft drink drinking and sailor searching sim is coming to the PSN and XBLA! This is a perfect chance to show SEGA that there's still interest in the brand and for those of you who missed out on these great games. Update March 2012:insane amounts of layoffs and restructuring at Sega make chances for this actually getting released in the West look bleak.	TBA PS3, 360
	Tomb Raider	Action/Adventure	Yay! Another reboot to the good and old Tomb Raider series. Anyway, this time Lara will be trying to survive on island, said to have survival-ish features (like looking out for water, food, creating tools from various items, etc). It will include some skill upgrading system to enable players to get further on the island. People over Crystal Dynamics said puzzles will be a lot more complex, and I really hope so. Overall, the game design seems to be a lot more darker than previous entries.	03/2013 360, PS3, PC
	Watch Dogs	Action/Adventure TPS	Ubisoft's E3 surprise. Play as some violent guy in a trenchcoat with 1337 hacking skills, using modern technology to his advantage in order to kill people. Jam everyone's smart phones and sneak past them while they're trying to reconnect to Facebook, disable traffic lights and cause traffic accidents, hack cameras and scan people to find out if they're HIV positive. Nintendo 3DS

The 3DS is picking up quite a storm in the game department, as well as a huge legion of fans behind it. It's a very nice system and not a lot of people would blame you if you abandoned your DS for this motherfucker.

	Animal Crossing	Sims	Same old Animal Crossing, but this time instead of being a typical neighbor you're the FUCKING MAYOR. That's right! Hopefully, you can boot out that damn Tom Nook for all the shit he's put you through. New features this time around include customizable furniture, wall specific items, and outdoor specific items like benches, lamp posts, etc. Also, QR codes for downloadable outfits, and possibly your own QR codes to share with others. You decide what shops to build, change store hours, etc. Add, remove, and adjust things in town like bridges and shops and shit. As always, you can change your character's clothes and textures. 	Ace Attorney 5	OBJECTING!	Phoenix is back! Now with some new assistant chick in yellow and looking manlier than ever. The game's visuals will be switched from 2D to 3D, and the plot is set one year after Apollo Justice. Winston Payne's brother will apparently be taking the stand as a prosecutor. 	Bravely Default Flying Fairy	RPG	Remember Final Fantasy 4 Heroes of Light on DS? This basically fixes a lot of the issues with that and instead of being based off FF3, it's based off of FF5 and FFT, taking the best parts of both and mashing them together for a kickass job system. Lots more customization options and more equipment slots mean you're less limited in combat options. If you don't like turn-based stuff, then pass on this. Everyone else is in for a real treat. There's also streetpass confirmed which will also slightly boost your characters, assuming you go outside.	JP: Soon All others: ?
image	Crashmo/Fallblox	3D Puzzle-Platformer	Sequel to Pushmo. Mallo is back, and this time saves birds instead of babbys because I don't know. Instead of just pushing and pulling back and forth up to 3 spaces though, you can push and pull them left and right and even take them out of socket (since there's no longer walls of just 3 layers) from any 90 degree angle, making formations come falling down (or crashing down, because shit's gotta be loud IN AMERICA). However, you've gotta be smart, as some goals can't be reached without careful strategy. There's also floating blocks as well. There's over 140 stages, but like the original you can also make your own stages with an editor and share them via QR codes.	US: 11/22 EU: "November"
	Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan	RPG/1st Person Dungeon Crawler	"F.O.E.!" The DS smash hit dungeon crawler is back! We don't know too much yet. Seven classes are revealed so far: Swordsman, Medic, Fortress, Rune Master, Nightseeker, Sniper, and Dancer. There's also two difficulty options, and you can even change from one to the other at any time in the game (although it isn't mandatory). In news of aesthetics, artist Nizo Yamamoto, who worked on Princess Mononoke, is creating background art. Expect your eyes to explode from the awesome world design. The original Etrian vets also return (Yuji Himukai, Shin Nagasawa, Yuzu Koshiro, and Daisuke Kaneda).	JP: Out now EU: Early 2013
	Fire Emblem: Awakening	Strategy RPG	Looks fucking awesome gameplay-wise, including combo-attacks similar to series-fave Triangle Attack, but with many more characters able to use it. Graphics are a mix of 2D tile-sprites on 3D backgrounds, but battles are all 3D. Thankfully, the models look as good, if not better than the GC/Wii games, but with fluid and expressive animations from the SNES and GBA. Will have a map like 8's that lets you revisit places, and an important player-made "My Unit" like FE12. Also character relationships and children. OH BOY. Will have paid DLC for extra maps and side-stories/missions. Said stuff include characters from other games like Marth, Alm, Micaiah, that fag Leaf, etc. Recently delayed. Again. GODDAMNIT. image	Fluidity/Hydroventure: Spin Cycle	Puzzle-Platformer?	Sequel to the Wii original. Like that one, you spin the level around, but now using your 3DS gyrosensor. Later on you can freeze the water into block of ice or turn it into a steam cloud. Has a curious storybook aesthetic, and evidently levels transcend time, as you go from "lost world full of dinosaurs to the modern world and beyond". Will likely be rather lengthy like the original and more than likely also have "a fantastically chill soundtrack" as someone noted on the Wii page.	US: 12/27 EU: "December"
image	Guild 01 excerpts	Various	Remember Guild 01? Well, 3 of the games on it are coming over as separate releases. Sadly, the Weapon shop/blacksmith game ain't coming over. I guess it's too japanese for us baka gaijins or some dumb shit like that. Anyways, Europe has confirmed: Liberation Maiden with English dub voices in October (now), Aeroporter in Nov, and Crimson Shroud in December. US release dates are unknown, but they should all be here "before holiday season to the end of the year" or so PR claims. You can see footage of each on youtube, and a bit of each in this digest video.	I'm not typing that shit up again.
	KAIO: King of Pirates	Action RPG	The first of a pirate-theme planned TRILOGY, and This is an effort between Keiji Inafune’s Intercept/Comcept studio and Marvelous AQL. Re-tells Romance of the Three Kingdoms in a sea-faring epic with all types of animals, designed after characters and their descendants like Liu Bei, Guan Yu, Cao Cao, and more. Inafune promises “I will not disappoint you” in the official website, which has BOTH Japanese and English text choices. Update: It's all but official that this game is coming overseas. Maybe? 	Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon	Adventure/Survival "Horror"	Luigi slips back on the ghost-busting scene. "Far along in development" thanks to development by Next Level Games, though Shiggy is "personally responsible". The map is on the touch screen and will have Gyro-sensor support. Supposedly, there's alot of secrets to find. Different mansions will be traversed, including an ice mansion and a mummy-filled tomb. Will be a mix of action and puzzles, the latter of which have been expanded on greatly, mostly to find secrets. Luigi gets a new DS over his old Game Boy Horror, and his Flashlight and Vacuum may be upgraded as well; but he'll still go chickenshit as always.	Worldwide: 2013
	Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate	Jaggies Everywhere	The one game NOBODY expected. Essentially a BOOSTED version of 3G (200 quests, touch-screen inventory and map functionality, and a "guild card" that can be swapped with other players) which was already a step up from MH3 to begin with. Cross-play and cross-save compatibility is the biggest addition. Play on one version and continue on another. Although the 3DS version is local-multiplayer only, the Wii U version can play online like MH3 on Wii could, but whether a 3DS can cross-play and join an online session via a sort of ad-hoc is unknown (and perhaps unlikely). Either way, both will release simultaneously in NA and Europe, so you can pal it up with the PALs and uh... play with Americans. 	Paper Mario Sticker Star	RPG	The 3D effects will work with puzzles and Mario only seems to have one buddy, which acts more like a Navi/Tippi. Stickers will be used in gameplay as items, and in stages to create stage-altering effects slightly like Little Big Planet. Battle Chance is a new feature. "Paper" aspects are also remixed, with a new scissor item, fans which blow away enemies, enemies who roll up into spiked forms, and so on. The world is much more like a mix of the original and second games over the hi-fi sugar bomb of SPM and parts of the second. Sadly, the world is divided into goal-based stages and not a connected overworld. At least it isn't like SPM. Also, goats.	US: 11/11 EU: December 7th
	Professor Layton 6	Puzzle	Roughly translated as: "Professor Layton and the Ruins of an Advanced Civilization". The last of the prequel trilogy. Takes place a year after Miracle Mask, and may or may not lead into Curious Village (Layton 1). Obviously has to do with some kind of Civilization, which seems to have been loosely inspired by Laputa: Castle in the Sky. According to creator Akihiro Hino, this will be the "last" Layton game. Whether that means the last game with Layton in it or the last game period is yet to be determined.Trailer Layton... had a puzzling life.	JP: 2013
	Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney	Adventure/puzzle?	I am dead fucking serious. Not much is known about it at this point except that it's coming and it features Phoenix, Maya, Layton and Luke trying to figure out the mystery behind a book that makes everything come true that's written in it. Supposedly de-confirmed for overseas release, but who knows? They may change their minds. Level 5 has shown interest, it's just a matter of getting all the copyright bullshit cleared, most likely. 	Project X Zone	Crossover clusterfuck	A role playing tactics game with characters from Capcom, Sega, and Namco franchises. Has tactics-based tile maps, but battles play out similar to Namco x Capcom, along with enhancements from Super Robot Wars Endless Frontier on DS. Damn near guaranteed to never make it out of Japan (maybe).	JP: 2012
	Rhythm Hunter: Harmo-Knight	Platformer/Rhythm	After 7 years, Game Freak finally got to make another game that isn't Pokemon. Seems similar to Bit Trip Runner and that one Rayman Legends level. Boss stages/battles seem almost Parappa-style as you get a prompt and then must copy it with your movements within a tempo. eShop exclusive, so rev up those points/credit cards. 	Rune Factory 4	Action-RPG/Sim	Not too much known as of yet, other than not coming out in 2011. New features include choosing your hero and sex/gender, going on dates with boy/girls instead of flat-out going from friends to marriage, and also talking to dragons (a big part of the game). There's a little more worth mentioning, but the big details aren't too well known yet. There's still farming (also with giant crops like giant turnips), combat, woolies, and taming monsters. 	Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner - Soul Hackers	First Person RPG	Remake of Megaten classic where you play as a cyberpunk Lupin the THIRRRD hacker. The world is connected via a colossal cyber network and some fags want to steal everyone's souls with computers. You and your gang, the Spookies, aim to stop this. Although translations on older versions are still worked on, this one has "animated battle sprites, a new intro, improved controls, smoother animation, new artwork, and quicker loading times." Also, "fully voiced dialogue." While it hasn't been announced for overseas, Atlus has been on a good roll lately and signs seem to point to a likely localization. 	Smash Bros. 3DS	Fighting (Casual/Party)	Nothing solid is known yet, but it will have relations to the Smash Bros. on Wii U. Rumors say that this game may return to the roots of Smash and be more party and casual-fun friendly than the Wii U game. Now that Kid Icarus Uprising is over with, he's said that he'll re-study past Smash games some before cracking at the newest ones. Update! Sakurai and Bandai Namco have joined forces for BOTH new Smashes. Prepare your wallets, because who knows what might happen this time around.	JP/US/EU: TBA

	Dragon Commander	Turn-based/Real-time Strategy/RPG	Continuing Larian's trend of games with terrible names, Dragon Commander lets you be the dragon that Hawke never could be. The premise is that you're the commander of an army, and you're a Dragon Knight (which means you have a dragon and a human form), and the game switches between the RPG-style conversations and equipment, the TBS-style campaign map, and the action-RTS style battles. (And yes, there's a tactical view.) It's also the company's first game after going independently funded (though they're still a big studio.) Whether the game works or it crashes and burns, it'll probably be interesting to watch either way.	TBA
	Freedom Planet	Girlie Sonic Action	A Sonic-like game with Original Characters. By which i mean it has the level design, physics, glorious graphics and music you'd expect from the Genesis games, plus some different gameplay mechanics and Treasure-like boss battles. 	Half-Life 2: Episode 3 / Half-Life 3	FPS	The long awaited next episode in the Half-Life series. Its release date is as much of a joke as Duke Nukem Forever's was.	TBA
	Hawken	Mech FPS	You love mechs? What a stupid question, of course you do. We all love mechs. The lack of current gen mech combat games saddens you? Fear not, Hawken is here! Put together by a very small and talented team it promises to bring back everything we love about mech combat. There are plenty of gameplay videos on youtube, the developers are eager to share their progress and updates with the fans, the signups for the yet undated closed beta are open and it was announced that console versions are a developer wish that might become reality if time and money allow it.	12.12.12
	Monaco	Heist	A downloadable 4-player co-op (both online & offline) where you and your crew run around Monaco pulling off badass heists stealing diamonds, important documents, etc. Multiple different classes with different abilities: one of you can hack security systems while the other knocks out guards with chloroform. Atelier Ayesha is a first in the series that tries to vastly improve the various event scenes with 3D graphics and animations instead of 2D portraits like the Arland series, but miserably fails with the lip-synching. 	Beyond: Two Souls	Interactive movie	David Cage and Quantic Dreams latest PS3 exclusive game movie. Starring Ellen Page, she'll face the 'drama' of death and beyond, all while SWAT agents chase her around or something. Set during the course of 15 years you'll see Ellen Page grow up and mature as a young woman pee in multiple bathrooms, because DAVID CAGE. Reveal Trailer	TBA
	Final Fantasy Versus XIII	Action RPG	The next installment in the Fabula Nova Crystallis compilation of Final Fantasy games, described as an "action role-playing game". Confirmed to have an overworld map and airships that you can pilot, and alleged to be substantially darker and grittier than any of the previous FF titles. Aside of taking place in the same "universe", it will have absolutely nothing to do with Final Fantasy XIII. Has been in development hell for years. “We have no release date information to update," says Kitase. "Unfortunately we can’t say anything about that. We can’t commit ourselves to 2011 either." Development seems to have some overlap with the Kingdom Hearts teams, though. Recent rumours of the game being cancelled have been denied by Square-Enix, who maintain that the game is alive and well. Speculation abound whether it will bear the same title when it finally comes out though.	Never
	JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle	3D Fighting	The legendary manga series is getting the fighting game treatment once again. It's being developed by CyberConnect2 so expect it to play more like the Naruto games than the Bizarre Adventure we know and love. 	Tales of Xillia	JRPG	Latest flagship title in the Tales of series made to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the series. Features two main characters, Jude and Milla, and you have to choose which character's story you'd like to follow. Trailer	JP: Out now EU/US: 2013
	The Last Guardian	Action-adventure, puzzle	Another action-adventure experience from developer Team Ico, better known for Ico and Shadow of the Colossus on the PS2. Many thematics from their previous titles are expected to return in this latest installment. Fumito Ueda, the guy behind Ico/SotC, left Sony in November 2011; no word on if that has effected development.	"When it's finished"
	The Last of Us	Survival Action-adventure	Naughty Dog brings you yet another zombie game. Escort Ellen Page Ellie through zombie infested Pittsburgh and protect her from both zombies and the various rape gangs of post apocalyptia. GameInformer has more on the details. 	Toki to Towa	JRPG, HD ANIMESHON ARUPIJI	Toki to Towa is the first JRPG to attempt the feat of literally looking like an anime by blending 2D animation with 3D backgrounds. 	Ni no kuni: Wrath of the White Witch	RPG/Adventure	Level-5 and Studio Ghibli collaborating to make an RPG. Go check it out, it looks amazing. Supposedly, this will have optional (?) PSMove support to emulate the DS method of drawing out for runic-spellcasting.	US: Holiday 2012 EU: Q1 2013
	Sly 4: Thieves In Time	Stealthy Racoons being stealthy	FUCK YEAR NEW SLY GAME! Not being made by Sucker Punch sadly, but by Sanzaru Games, the people who made the fucking awesome Sly Collection on the PS3. There are some videos and images on the project, but not too much more has been revealed since E3 2011. We do know that you meet up with some of Sly's ancestors.	2013
	Yakuza 5	Beat 'Em Up/Being a Badass/Idol simulation	New game engine and the biggest Yakuza experience yet. With 5 cities (Sapporo, Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka) and 5 playable characters (Kiryu, Akiyama, Saejima, HARUKA and newcomer Shinda). Watching this video should be more than enough to hype you. Not much to say here erryone, just some JRPG's that most likely either won't come out here or just aren't being cared about anymore. Either way, PSP is going the way of the DS also with no new games out of this list in the future mainly because of the Vita. Good night sweet prince, we enjoyed you well.

	Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky - Second Chapter & The 3rd	RPG	The second and third games of the Trails trilogy. XSEED Games is bringing the entire trilogy in English, with First Chapter already out. Second Chapter has been said to be out on 2012~2013 due to the huge amount of text in it (the game was originally released in two UMDs to give you an idea of how big it is). 	One Piece: Romance Dawn	RPG	One Piece in a formula that feels like it works well, an RPG.  Follow Luffy from his humble beginnings in a pretty good story retelling of the franchise. It's One Piece, so american release looks slim but here's to hoping.	JP: 12/20/12
	Persona 2: Eternal Punishment (remastery)	RPG	Remember how Innocent Sin got remastered? Well, Atlus said fuck it and decided to give this one the special treatment as well. What we know: "Load times have been improved, and the title will feature a number of new scenarios. Mad House is producing a new animated opening as well. As was the case with Innocent Sin, Shōji Meguro will be serving as director." Atlus could possibly bring this sucker outside of Japan, but nothing's been confirmed so far.	JP: May 17

If you've never played it, it's "arguably" the most well-rounded of the Arland Trilogy of Atelier games, though opinions are a bit split on that. 	DJMAX TECHNIKA TUNE	Rhythm	Portable adaption of the arcade game series. A rhythm game based on a touchscreen where you touch buttons when a timeline passes over it. Confirmed to have a mode that makes use of both the front and back touchpads and DLC songs from older DJMAX titles. Contains TECHNIKA 3 songs and uses the interface from TECHNIKA 2, also has Facebook integration but nobody gives a shit about that. OST and M/V modes are confirmed to make a return. 	Dragon's Crown	Beat 'Em Up	Similar to olden medieval beat 'em ups, like Golden Axe and Dungeons and Dragons arcade, hell, it's even led by a member who was a part of the Shadows over Mysteria team! 6 character types, each with different builds, strengths, and weaknesses. It seems you may be able to ride creatures, but the in-depth aspects are for the most part unknown. What we do know is that you can take on lots of quests, 4 player co-op between both PS3 and PSVita, the claim of a "nearly endless online adventure”, and you can even build up your own character in some way. 	Final Fantasy Type-0	RPG	Originally known as Final Fantasy XIII Agito, it was renamed after FF13 released. Currently out in Japan, the game was met with excellent reviews and a PSV version is rumored for International release, though no official word from Square Enix on the matter.	Eventually ;_;
	Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F	Rhythm	Another installment in the Project Diva series. Weeaboo-attracting rhythm game featuring Hatsune Miku that's actually quite challenging. Was shown in a booth at E3 surprisingly enough so it may get out of Japan. Some have questioned the star-swiping, but you'll probably get it for Miku anyways (Luka master race is so above this shit). 	Legend of Heroes: Zero No Kiseki Evolution	RPG	Probably never leaving Japan but what the hell. Upgraded remake of the PSP RPG, let the music tell you why it's good.	JP: 10/18/12
	Malicious Rebirth	Hack N Slash	Port of the japanese PSN game for PS3. Slash through huge hordes of enemies, punch giant monsters like motherfucking Fist of the North Star or even impale them with your lance while flying around like a Super Saiyan. Has some stylish visuals and looks rather interesting. No release dates yet nor localization announcements but keep your fingers crossed. 	Tokushu Houdoubu	Adventure	Nippon Ichi's 20th Anniversary game for Vita. You are a reporter and investigate cases about UFOs and ghosts and other paranormal stuff. True story.	JP: 08/23/12
	Ys: Forest of Celceta	Action RPG	New entry for the best Action RPG series almost no one played. Reimagination of Ys IV, the same way Oath In Felghana did for Ys III. Uses the Ys Seven engine, will have better storytelling, rearranged music and of course visuals updated to 3D polygons. Adds new moves to Adol's repertoire like Flash Step and Fatal Blow. In addition, skills will be learned in a Romancing SaGa style, i.e. seemingly-randomly and in mid-battle, but with greater odds the more skilled your weapon usage is. Falcom has already contacted XSEED games for a localization of this title, so it's highly likely that it'll get a western release. Newest trailer	JP: 09/17/12

	Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate	Jaggies Everywhere	The one game NOBODY expected. Essentially a BOOSTED version of 3G (200 quests, touch-screen inventory and map functionality, and a "guild card" that can be swapped with other players) which was already a step up from MH3 to begin with. Cross-play and cross-save compatibility is the biggest addition. Play on one version and continue on another. Although the 3DS version is local-multiplayer only, the Wii U version can play online like MH3 on Wii could, but whether a 3DS can cross-play and join an online session via a sort of ad-hoc is unknown (and perhaps unlikely). Either way, both will release simultaneously in NA and Europe, so you can pal it up with the PALs and uh... play with Americans. Touch-screen via tablet is almost a given and Classic Pro Controller U support is in. Graffix are also touched up. just look at them cleaner textures for the boxes and shit.	March 2013

	New Super Mario Bros. U	Platformer	Seems to be similar to the Wii version with 4 player co-op, but now you can play as your Mii instead of some half-ass shoveled-in Toad (although those fuckheads are still in and playable anyways). You can even choose different outfit color schemes. Will have a world map, Miiverse support, and some new additions such as a tablet-addition to create blocks to jump on (and secret areas only accessible by doing so) and some dumbass flying squirrel suit. Also baby yoshis who each have different powers, and feeding them lets them shit out a power-up. Gross, but cool. Adult Yoshis may or may not be in. It looks smooth and clean in terms of framerate and aesthetics.	Winter 2012?
	Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge	Beat 'em Up	Essentially, what NG3 was SUPPOSED to be. Also, Ayane is playable now, it seems. Has a new "Chapter Challenge" mode where you can replay stages as either. There's also an online co-op mode with Ryu and Ayane. Dismemberment returns, new enemy types, and enemy AI is better now. You can use the touch screen to "select weapons, perform Ninpo, view additional game information and more". There will be new weapons, and "six weapon types and three Ninpo types in the game". 	Rayman Legends	Platformer	Sequel to Origins. Pretty much revamped all the way for the better, especially in the graphics department. Will have online multiplayer (though that may be limited to mini-games) with Ghost Races (time-trials) and challenges between players, new characters, and supposedly Wii-U touch pad support for obstacles in the game, along with using figurines on the touch pad for unlocking, uh, stuff. At least we know you can punch Rabbids in the junk. An Ezio figure was hinted, but who knows what it does. Officially Wii U only (for now?).	US: Christmas 2012
	Smash Bros. Wii U	Fighting	Apparently You-Know-Who has got pretty neat plans. Nothing solid is known yet, but it will have relations to Smash Bros. 3DS. Rumors are that this one will be more fighting and tourney-ish over the 3DS game though, so Melee fans may want to be prepared. Update! Sakurai and Bandai Namco have joined forces for BOTH new Smashes. Prepare your wallets, because who knows what might happen this time around.	Unknown
	Tekken Tag Tournament 2	Fighting	Now you can "superior limb-based combat" with your Wii U. The series' first appearance on a Nintendo home console. Supposedly will make "full use" of the Wii U's power, but no specifics are mentioned. It seems like you can draw and edit designs on the fighters. According to Wikipedia, it's a dream match, including characters from Tekken 6 and before for over 50 fighters. The Wii U version will have exclusive stuff like Mega and Poison Mushrooms from Mario, Nintendo costumes from various franchises, and even some extra attacks, like the Link costume giving you the Master Sword. Also other stuff we don't know yet. Will likely release around the Wii U launch. Also, a Snoop Dogg stage. I shit you not.	Winter 2012
	The Wonderful 101	Strategy/Beat 'em up	Previously known as "Project P-100", it's Viewtiful Joe meets Pikmin and it's being made by Platinum Games? Doesn't have that over the top feeling of their other games, but might be cool. You use your powers to help fend off an alien invasion, recruit other citizens and turn THEM into superheroes as well. You can combine into various forms, such as gathering together to form giant fists, swords, guns, and sometimes other things like chains and ladders to get to places everyone can't reach normally. 	Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper	Ancient China I mean Japan time-warp asskicking	Has the extra content from the PSP version, plus new features like "Duel Mode: A fusion of versus and card battles!" ("Versus" being like 1-on-1 fighting games) where you use cards to power up or something. You can also play this mode locally and online. Another new addition is co-op where one player uses the Wii U pro controller and the other plays with the gamepad tablet, instead of split screen in the old versions (assumedly, it might still be an option).
