|Got this in the Steam sale. Holy shit this game is amazing. No story, but who needs one when you can shoot shit and spill one liners without a care in the world. Apparently its buggy but so far I haven't had any trouble. Has a co-op mode, so you can play with a bro.

[[User:Billhelm_II|Billhelm_II]] Edit: I was going to change my GotM to Serious Sam HD, but LEGOslayer beat me to it. This game is just as amazing as he makes it sound, and playing with a bro is even better. Get it.

User Games of the Moment

If you're looking for some quick gaming suggestions, this page provides a place where this wiki's admins and editors list their 'game of the moment'. The game does not have a set date of time to stay on the list, nor does it adhere to any specifics. It's just the game that the user who put it up feels like promoting and sharing for the time being. Maybe it's what they're currently playing, or have just beaten, or just discovered, or are remembering fondly. Doesn't matter. It's simply a collection of personally recommended games by your bros.

Kotep Divinity II: The Dragon Knight Saga Action RPG Imagine if you took Diablo's loot and combat and Baldur Gate 2's roleplaying, and put it into a game. Now you've got Divine Divinity (aka Divinity I). Now add in hints of Fable and give it current-gen graphics. You've got yourself Divinity II, one of the most fun and amusing RPGs I've played in quite a while. Exploration is heavily rewarded, and you'll get your ass kicked if you're not careful. Beware, Divinity II: Ego Draconis is the unfinished, rushed-out, crappy version, but was remastered for Dragon Knight Saga. PC or 360 Divinity2
Dejiko Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey RPG My PSP broke, so it was back to the DS after a long, long Monster Hunter fix. I noticed I hadn't played SJ in a while. Had to use some map pics off the net to progress, but Good Lord, it felt good to be back. One infamous factor I missed was conversations with critters. It's nice to play a game that can be unpredictable at times. Talk one way, it might work, talk the same way to the same beastie, and it's all "Fuck your shit, I'm outta here." It's irritating and amusing at different times, but a real step up from previous entries where you could just predict your way into winning every playthrough. Nintendo DS Armorfetish
MFGreth Poker Night At The Inventory Casualan

Look it's fun, okay? Strong Bad, Max, Tycho, and the Heavy are some pretty memorable personalities, and playing poker with them feels like you're shooting the shit with your best friends. Plus the TF2 unlocks are nice.

Haipayazoo Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen RPG I had decided one day to start playing all the Dragon Quest games (even though I'm doing the exact same thing with Zelda currently) and made my way up to V currently although I just recently beat IV. Chapters of the Chosen is so far one of my favorite DQ games out of the four I've already played. It had more in depth story and awesome gameplay. However, it was annoying as hell finding where you had to go, but the experience was really satisfying. I prefer the DS since it's like the PS remake but on the go.Now to play V.

Kind of a lame user comment. The next one I'll add will have a better description.

Nintendo DS Dq4-2
PKFire The Witcher: Enhanced Edition RPG Finally picked this up at the Steam holiday sale. It's all the delicious monster slaying, potion brewing, dice playing, morally ambiguous fare of the original with new quest, shorter loading times, better character models and animations and all sort of neat stuff like auto-sorting inventory.

Protip: Set the voice acting to Polish.

LEGOslayer Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter Shooter Got this in the Steam sale. Holy shit this game is amazing. No story, but who needs one when you can shoot shit and spill one liners without a care in the world. Apparently its buggy but so far I haven't had any trouble. Has a co-op mode, so you can play with a bro.

R404 Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) Racing Arcadey racer. Play as cops or speeders. Just about as good as the original. Fantastic sense of speed. Endless fun in the free drive mode. Great soundtrack, great graphics. Feels like Burnout because it was made my Criterion games. Really fun multiplayer with inpeccable netcode, so you won't be seeing a lot of lag. Pure and simple fun. Great way to unwind after work or school without the frustrations of FPSs and the like. PS3 Nfs
Billhelm_II Hellgate: London (2007) RPG/Diablo clone Like Diablo? Like post-apocalyptic themes? Like modern graphics? Then this is the game for you. It's a Diablo clone (complete with Tetris-based inventory) set in post-apocalyptic London rendered on a (mostly) modern graphics engine. The enemy design is good, the combat is very satisfying, and the classes are somewhat unique for a Diablo clone (FPSing? In my Diablo?). It's 100% worth playing for any fan of action-RPGs. PC Hellgate10Q23xJbe8X
Zachncheeze Resistance: Fall of Man FPS It's a split-timeline space invasion. It's pretty generic, but I feel like it has really solid controls and a pretty interesting story. Gameplay is great and the overall experience is enjoyable. Has split screen co-op for your bros too, and online mode isn't bad. Overall a great game and heavily underrated. I picked it up again because the 3rd one is coming out in 2011 and it's gonna be really, really good. The second one is okay, but they messed it up a little bit (they're fixing those things in the 3rd), however it is still a pretty decent game too. Try it if you like this one.
